This is your offbeat reporter Kerem, back with a hot new scoop from the GoatFormat frontlines! Another TCG store emerges amongst the community scene in helping keep Goat Format alive in-paper! I had the amazing opportunity to do some on-site reporting of Cheerful TCG’s Goat Format Monday Locals! It was another great night of Goat Format action at Cheerful TCG in Spartanburg, SC! The community showed up strong for this week’s Monday locals, and the games were nothing short of explosive. It was an absolute blast to hang out and watch some goat format!

Decklists

🥇 1st Place — Mr Schmidt: Reasoning Gate 
​A well established strategy with his own flair added to the mix. Cards like The Creator, Question, and Mystical Knight of Jackal work together to take home the crown this time around.

🥈 2nd Place — Weezy Evilswam: PACMAN
​Weezy’s PACMAN build blended aggressive board presence with sticky disruptions He opts for the classic Flip monsters of the well established pacman strategy and it pays off as he holds his own in 2nd place.

🥉 3rd Place — William Gregg: Relinquished Control
​William’s take on Relinquished is an interesting one, as instead of playing the Chaos Standard Chaos Sorcerer, he elects to run the Control package of Metamorphosis and Scapegoat to help him slow down the pace of play, and really control the gamestate. Another niche card we see getting some playing time is Penumbral Soldier Lady in the side board.
